Chateau Zedelgheim, located just outside of the town of Bruges in Belgium, is the home of aging composer Vyvyan Ayrs, his wife, Jocasta, and his teenage daughter, Eva. It is there that Robert Frobisher goes to escape his creditors and assist Mr. Ayrs in "Letters from Chateau Zedelghem." Frobisher stays at the Chateau for approximately six months in 1931, posting over a dozen letters from there to his friend in England, Rufus Sixsmith.
