Duophysite is a member of the Prescients.
The Novel[]
Duophysite becomes aware that Zachry is using the orison that is in the custody of Meronym. He chides Zachry via ther orison comminucation channel for taking something that does not belong to him. He later speaks with Zachry again via ther orison and offers him sanctuary with the Prescients.
The Film[]
Duophysite may be the captain of the Prescient vessel to whom Meronym speaks while enroute to the observatory. If so, he is the man who gives permission for Zachry and his niece to accompany the Prescients on their flight from Earth.
